In English, we need the subject (I, you, he, she...) the verb to be (am, are, is...) and the actoin verb plus the ending -ing.
En inglés necesitamos el sujeto (yo, tú, él, ella...), el verbo to be, ser o estar, (soy, eres, es...) y el verbo que indica la acción más la terminación -ing.
